The next meeting of Monroe lodge will be December 18 BONELESS Beef Roast U.S. Choice--Chuck Cut ib79 c The dedication of Skykomish Boys' Club is set for DeQember 11. A dedication dinner in the Sky Chalet dining room will be served at 6:30 with a charge of $2.50 a plate. On the menu will be a Swiss steak with a mushroom sauce. A five minute introduction before dinner and a fifteen minute talk after dinner will explain the Boys' Club program. Several members of the Boys' Club of Seattle and King County will be present, some from as far-away as Tacoma. Invocation will be given by either Father Petosa or Russel Cole. Afterward everyone is invited to the Boys' Club to see in detail what has been done. School News: This year's D.A.R. good citizen award will be presented to Karen Crumpler, an- nounced Mrs. Claudia Fay, Girls' Club Advisor. Karen was chosen on her scholasttc ability, dependabtllty, leadership, citizenship qualities and patriotism. "This contest is an effort to stimulate good school citizenship as a valuable training for our future leaders and citizens," reports Mrs. Esther Ness, chatrman of the Daugh- ters of the American Revolution Committee. In December, Karen and Mrs. Fay will attend a luncheon in Seattle... The town of Leavenworth hosted this year's "B" League Jamboree in their town gym Sunday night signalling the begin- ning of the basketball season that Coach Brad- head feels will be a very good one this year... The fifth and sixth graders were treated to an ice cream feed as a reward for selling tickets to the school play, "The Curious Savage."
