Pa e Six, Monitor, Monroe, WA. August 2, 1973 Super stocks and NASCAR sportsmen are scheduled as the feature event at Sky Valley Speedway in Monroe August 4. In racing action last Saturday Everett Kach spun off first place finishes tn the C-Dash and 1st heat. Following in the C-Dash were Tom King and Richard Hill. Top three finishers in the other dashes were: B-Dash; Greg Barnhardt, Jack Frteneck and Warren Dodge; A-Dash; Gene Pierce, Dick Wilskey and Mike Stole. First three to cross the line in the heats were: 1st Heat: 2nd Heat: Backer; 3rd Heat: Lantz; 4th Heat: HartJoy; 5th Heat: lie Letlke. Kach, Bob Clarity and Ran Dodge; Bob Ashe, Buzz Munn and Earl Dave Hill, John Mayer and Doug Don Bingham, Bert Black and Gene Mike Stole, Gene Pierce and Rol- Winners tn the B-Main were Jay Barnes, Bud Ashe, Doug Lantz and Dan Steelsmith. Larry Arrants, Don Btngham, Dick Wtlskey and Gene Pierce took honors in the A-Main. In the disc Jockey challenge race, Chuck James took first, followed by Marty Hamstra and Bill Stanfteld. In the powder puff feature, first three to ctrcle the course were Dee Steelsmith, Shirley Draper and Lee Hampton. Jalopy dash winners were Ron Radke, Con Korakis and Rollte Root. Main MONROE 794-7600 Clifford Harrison, 70, of Monroe, died July 30 in a local hos- pital following an ex- tended illness. At Mr. Harrison's request no services were held. Interment Bus of Kenmore and Hal of Vancouver, B.C.; three sisters, Bernice Boomer of Gold Bar, and Mrs. Cad Nelson of Route 2, Snohomish and Mrs. Blllte Rice of Seattle; was in the I.O.O.F. five grandchtldren and Cemetery under the s e v en great-grand- direction of Purdy and children. Kerr Funeral Home. Mr. Harrison was born December 14, 1902,in Washington Stateand had been a resident of this area for the past 60 years. He was a retired log- ger and belonged to t h e International Woodworkers of America. Mr. Harrison leaves a son, Claude of Route 4, Snohomtsh; a daughter, C a r o 1 e, McKenzie of Sno- qualm,e; three broth- ers, Fred of Bothell.
